How does this grant finder work?
- 01Each scheme carries its rules from the official page: business type, Malaysian ownership, years operating, size, sector and Bumiputera status.
- 02Your answers are compared with those rules. A scheme fits only when you meet every rule it states and it pays for your project.
- 03A rule the official page does not state is never guessed. The card tells you to confirm it with the agency.
- 04Matches rank open schemes first, then grants before loans, then the larger amount. Your answers never leave your browser.

Questions about digital grants in Malaysia
Is there a government grant for an SME website in Malaysia?
The main one, the MSME Digital Grant MADANI, paid 50% of the cost up to RM 5,000 for digital marketing, e-POS, cybersecurity and e-Invoice. Applications closed on 5 September 2025 and no 2026 round is announced yet. Financing such as SME Corp's BAP programme can still pay for ICT adoption.
Which digital grants are open now?
On 22 October 2026, 2 schemes in this tool were open. MIDA's DIAF ESG grant pays 50% up to RM 500,000, but only for ESG data software, until 31 October 2026. Budget 2027 set aside support for AI and automation through MDEC, with terms not announced yet.
Do I need to be Bumiputera to get a digital grant?
Most federal schemes here are open to any Malaysian-owned business that meets the ownership rule. A few state and agency schemes are for Bumiputera-owned businesses only, and the tool marks those clearly.
Can any vendor build a grant-funded project?
Not always. The MSME Digital Grant MADANI paid only providers on MDEC's list of digitalisation partners. Other schemes, such as MIDA's DIAF, let you pick your supplier but reimburse only spending after approval. Read the vendor rule before you get quotations.
Is Pali an approved grant vendor or consultant?
No. Pali is not an approved vendor, consultant or partner of any agency. Pali scopes the project, prepares the quotation and project description an application asks for, and builds it, for schemes that let you choose your supplier.
How do I apply for SME financing for a digital project?
SME Corp's BAP Alternative Financing offers up to RM 400,000 through microLEAP, and up to 40% can convert to a grant if you repay on time. Prepare a clear scope, a quotation and your recent bank statements before you apply.
