To be named by ChatGPT and quoted in Google AI Overviews, a business in Malaysia must be a clearly defined entity, answer buyers' questions in short liftable passages, mark pages up with schema, and be mentioned on sites the engines trust. Nobody can guarantee a mention. Pali runs this work from RM 1,200 a month.

What are the steps?
- 01Define the entityWrite one canonical description of the business and use it word for word on the site, in Organization schema and on every profile, with sameAs links to each real profile.
- 02Answer firstOpen each key page with a 40 to 60 word passage that answers the question the page targets, in plain words.
- 03Use question headingsShape each h2 as the question a buyer asks, and answer it in the first sentence under it.
- 04Add FAQs and schemaAdd a real FAQ to each key page, and mark the page up with its type, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList schema.
- 05Publish llms.txtPublish an llms.txt file at the root that says what the business is and where the key pages are.
- 06Decide your AI crawler postureChoose on purpose which AI crawlers may read the site in robots.txt. Blocking them by accident opts you out.
- 07Earn off-site mentionsGet named on sites the engines already trust: Malaysian directories, Lowyat forum threads, Reddit r/malaysia, industry associations and the press.
- 08Track 10 buying questionsEach month, ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude the 10 questions your buyers ask, and record who gets named.
Why do AI answers name some businesses and not others?
AI answers cite sources they can recognise and cross-check. A business with one consistent description, clear answers on its own site and mentions on trusted sites is easy to name. One with mixed descriptions and no mentions is easy to skip.
What should a page look like to be quoted?
- A short direct answer at the top, before any story.
- Question-shaped headings, each answered in its first sentence.
- Facts stated plainly: prices in RM, places in Malaysia, dates.
- Real lists and tables instead of long paragraphs.
- An FAQ marked up with schema.
Where should a Malaysian business get mentioned?
| Source | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Malaysian business directories | Confirms the name, address and phone |
| Lowyat forum | Real questions where buyers compare options |
| Reddit r/malaysia | Public threads that buyers read and AI answers can cite |
| Industry associations | Trusted lists in your sector |
| Local press | Independent coverage with your name in it |
Earn these with useful answers and real news. Never pay for links.
How do I track whether it is working?
Write down the 10 questions your buyers ask, such as the service plus your city. Each month, ask them in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, and note which businesses are named and which sources are cited. Compare month to month, alongside enquiries.
Can Pali do this for my business?
Yes. The SEO, AEO and GEO service covers every step above, and Search Care includes the monthly tracking. Price it in the calculator, or start a new product with the Discovery Sprint.
